Description

Immerse yourself in a fast-paced race to the final frontier: space. A deck-building confrontation of swift decision-making and tactical choices, Martin Wallaces Rocketmen gives you the feel of taking a front seat in a technologically wonderful spectacle of space exploration. Its up to your predictive abilities and resource management skills to determine what kind of endeavor would be most suitable for paving the way to Earths celestial neighbors. It doesnt matter whether it would be a low-Earth orbit satellite or a manned base destined for the Red Planet plan your mission carefully, equip your shuttles and rockets craftily, but do not hesitate when your gut tells you when its time to launch!

In Rocketmen, players gain VPs by successfully launching various space missions to Earth orbit, Moon, and Mars. At the beginning of the game, players also receive two secret personal goals to complete. The gameplay is turn-based and each player can take one of four actions: buy cards, place cards on the launch bay, discard cards, or launch a mission. Launching a mission ushers in a push-your-luck mechanism where success depends on what cards theyve acquired along the way.
